Audiences can expect a night of intentional listening to experience two landmark albums in 360º Spatial Audio: John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme and Alice Coltrane’s Journey in Satchidananda.

Two of the most singular voices in jazz, joined for a time by marriage and, throughout, by a shared devotion to music as spiritual practice. A Love Supreme is John Coltrane’s 1965 suite of devotion, a four-part prayer that remains one of the most revered recordings in jazz history. Journey in Satchidananda is Alice Coltrane’s 1970 masterwork, her harp and Eastern-inflected compositions building a sound world entirely her own, one that continues to influence generations of musicians across jazz, ambient and beyond.

John Coltrane (1926-1967) is considered among the most influential musicians of the 20th century, reshaping the language, ambition and purpose of music and selling over 25 million albums. Alice Coltrane (1937-2007) forged her own path as a composer, harpist and bandleader, her deeply spiritual body of work now recognised as one of the most original in American music.
