Alice Coltrane Quartet featuring: Ravi Coltrane, tenor and soprano saxophones; Charlie Haden, bass; Roy Haynes, drums; and Alice Coltrane piano, organ and synthesizer. There was a special segment in the program honoring the 80th birthday anniversary of John Coltrane.  Read reviews on this concert

at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC)
Alice Coltrane Quartet featuring: Ravi Coltrane, tenor and soprano saxophones; Charlie Haden, bass; Reggie Workman, bass; Jack DeJohnette, drums; and Alice Coltrane, piano, organ and synthesizer.  Essence Magazine Editorial Director, Susan Taylor will be the MC of the concert. There will be a portion of the program for remembrance of John Coltrane on his 80th birthday year. Also, Mrs. Coltrane will  premiere two of the songs from her upcoming CD "Sacred Language of Ascension,” one entitled Mata, Mata and the other Universe with orchestra and choir.
